How are neuronal shape and function related? We have argued (e.g. ) that the individual shape of neurons defines connectivity, which, in turn, defines function and behavior. This involves complex networks obtained by simulations of neuronal growth, as well as on the effect of shape over connectivity.
We have also been investigating memory and concept associations in terms of complex networks derived from free and constrained word associations.
More recently, We have also been interested in studying the connectivity between cortical areas in terms of concentric measurements.
